Merchant Dashboard

The merchant dashboard is your account’s frontpage view in the merchant portal (merchants.breadpayments.com). This dashboard includes a summary of your account’s sales, transactions, and average order value (AOV) with Bread. You will also see alerts for any Pending or Authorized transactions that require action.

The graph in your dashboard provides a visualization of your sales, transactions, and average order value (AOV) over time. You can toggle between different views by clicking the blue “Sales”, “Transactions”, and “AOV” blocks. You can also use the date filters on the top left of the chart to view your performance over different periods. Note that all of the data on your merchant dashboard is in US Eastern time.

Data Definitions

  • Sales: Your total authorized and settled Bread transactions within the set time period (in ET). This number does not subtract any refunds, expirations, or cancellations that happen after authorization.
  • Transactions: The number of authorized and settled Bread transactions within the set time period (in ET). This number does not subtract refunds, expirations, or cancellations that happen after authorization.
  • AOV: The average order value of your authorized and settled transactions within the set time period (in ET). This number does not subtract refunds, expirations, or cancellations that happen after authorization.

Date Range Definitions

  • 7 days: Daily over the last 7 days, excluding today.
  • 30 days: Daily over the last 30 days, excluding today.
  • All: Monthly over all time, excluding today.

Monthly Performance Reports

Bread also sends monthly performance reports that provide detailed data on your performance with Bread in the previous month and since launch. The report contains performance data on your loan volume, loan terms and customer specific trends.
